About Us

The Foundations of Our Faith

LIFE IN CHRIST FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER was founded in the belief that there is an abundance of life for all that desire it, based on the Word of God, there are six fundamental pillars of faith in which we stand for the maturing of believers:

Hebrew 6:1-3

  • Repentance from Dead Works
  • Faith towards God
  • Baptisms
  • Laying on of Hands
  • Resurrection
  • Everlasting Life

…and this we will do, if God permits

Our History

LIFE IN CHRIST FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER was founded in Tinley Park, IL as a religious organization that supports families through programs and faith-based growth.

The first service was held on Sunday, December 18, 2011, in the home of the founders Pastors Royal and Kimberly McClinton.  Much to their surprise 17 people showed up and the legacy began.  Word of the ministries doors being opened spread fast and they sought a facility to accomodate those interested in the ministry.  On Sunday, January 1, 2012, Salem Lutheran Evangelical Church opened its doors agreeing to space share with LICFWC.

Each service is unique - so much so that we have acquired the motto: Church not as Usual. We decree and declare the Word of the Lord over our lives and are seeing the manifestation of the Word.

And that's what LIFE IN CHRIST FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER is all about.

Inspiring Stories

My recreational drug use had turned into a full-blown addiction. It was only through the support of LIFE IN CHRIST FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER that I was able to kick the habit and get my life back. Their non-judgmental approach really made all the difference. Thank you!

After losing my job I thought I would never be able to keep going. It hurt my pride and my self-confidence, I was about to give up. LIFE IN CHRIST FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER's economic assistance classes helped me find temporary resources to meet my monthly bills. They were also instrumental in finding employment agencies. I am now working again, thanks to LIFE IN CHRIST FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER.

I asked for prayer last night on criminal charges falsely put on my life, as of this moment, God is working on my dad in Florida, through a Christian from the worship center, my dad is in control of my inheritance, that I could use for bail money, my dad is into Wicca , in which my christian friend has now confronted him with how and why he is being deceived not by his son, but by his actions involved with the principalities of darkness in high places, she has told him to get all the Wicca out of his house, so he is not deceived by satan, my dad believes I am deceiving him, even with real true documents from the courts.  He is so confused as Satan is the author of confusion, I pray God works hard on an immediate repentance to righteousness and the holy bible, my father is not a Christian he is 70 years old.

Get in on this lovin' folks! It may last forever, but u must believe first <3

Being at Life in Christ has made me look at Life so much differently. I was living in a very uncomfortable situation and didn't know what to do about it. I remembered the pastor's teachings on "use your resources". So i began to pray over my situation and God moved on my behalf and brought light to my very dark situation. I have grown so much as a young woman and mother because of the teaching and leading by example at Life in Christ.
